Ontario fruit farmers need timely, technical information to grow their crops. If you are a commercial fruit grower in Ontario, then you should sign up for the ONfruit blog or check back often as we have information and resources to help you. Fruit specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) contribute to the blog and can answer technical questions you may have.

Ontario Fruit Production
Ontario grows many top quality fruits – because we have the right mix of weather, geography and soils. We grow tender fruit such as cherries, grapes, plums, pears, apricots, peaches and nectarines. Apples and nuts such as walnuts and hazelnuts also grow in Ontario (including other fruits and nuts too). Our map below shows the areas which regions Ontario fruit are grown.
